Veterans Aid & Benefit Seminar with Texas Veterans Commission & Parker County Veterans Services a Success!

We do more than provide nutrition and socialization for our seniors, we also provide education.  West Fork at Weatherford Assisted Living & Memory Care sponsored an education event yesterday in our big activities room.

John Hale, of the Parker County Veteran’s Services, and Jim Grisham, of the Texas Veterans Commission presented information on Veterans Aid and Veterans Benefits.  This can be a complicated process and these two vital offices, right  here in Weatherford, can help Parker County Veterans get through the red tape and make aid and benefits applications much more understandable and use friendly.

Special thanks to John Hale and Jim Grisham for your time and expertise.  And a special thanks to one of our new PCCOA partners, Heather Lovelace, the Community Relations Director at West Fork at Weatherford Assisted Living & Memory Care for sponsoring this education event.
