Senior Center Activities

The Senior Center is the location for recreation, physical fitness, fellowship, socializing, entertainment, and lunch. For all the details, visit the Activities page.

Senior Center Lunch

The lunch meal is served five days a week in a congregate setting at the Weatherford Senior Center. These meals meet one third of the recommended daily allowance requirements for senior adults.

Meals on Wheels

Meals are delivered five days a week to homebound elderly who are unable to prepare their own meals and who lack family, friends and other community resources. See details about the Meals on Wheels program.

Food Pantry / Food Bank

On the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month, seniors who sign up for this service may come to the Senior Center and pick up groceries at no cost to them.

Liquid Nutrition

Ensure is available to clients, one time each month, at no cost. Please provide request from your Doctor.

Transportation Service

Transportation service is available Monday through Friday each week. This service offers reduced rates for trips to various locations in Parker County such as, pharmacies, doctor's offices, grocery stores and the Senior Center. Learn more about the Transportation Service.

Utility & Prescription Financial Assistance

Senior citizens may receive up to $60 toward a utility bill and/or prescription costs, per year.

Case Management

Case management services provides individual assessment of client needs, a care plan of services, monitoring of the client's status and revision of the care plan as appropriate.

Reassurance Calls

Regular phone calls are made to homebound clients to assure their safety and well-being.
