Our Wish List!

Everybody has a wish list.  A wish list for Christmas, a wish list for the New Year, and wish list for a growing business.

PCCOA has a wish list too.

The need for Meals on Wheels in Parker County is growing every year.  In 2019, with the help of our staff and volunteers, we served 32,303 meals to homebound seniors in Parker County.  We are on track to serve 50,000+ in the year 2020. Parker County is over 923 square miles in size.  It is one of the fastest growing counties in the state of Texas, and with the projected growth in the next five years, our services will be needed by even more seniors.

At our senior center, we served 13,030 lunches to seniors who come can still drive and come to the center for lunch and activities.  With more of the Baby Boomer generation becoming the seniors that organizations like our center serve, there will be even more need for in-house lunches, education, activities, and bus services.

Here is our immediate major wish list.  Maybe you, or someone you know can help fulfill our needs.

  1. A Mission Arctic Air, double door, stainless steel, upright, commercial freezer on locking casters.
  2. A commercial, 5-well, electric, stainless steam table on locking casters.
  3. Flatware for lunches served to seniors at the center.
  4. Reusable clear plastic drink,  glasses for lunches and events at the center
