Immediate Need for Food

Parker County Committee on Aging’s, Meals on Wheels program and 60+ Club is currently in need of food donations. With rising costs in the food industry, we could really use our communities help to continue to help the senior citizens of Parker County. If you are interested in hosting a food drive or would like to make a personal donation, you may call us at (817) 596-4640 or stop by our office at 1225 Holland Lake Dr. Weatherford, TX 76086.

Below is a list of items we need to restock our kitchen with:

  • #10 Cans of Vegetables (black eyed peas, lima beans, butter beans, spinach, whole new potatoes, diced tomatoes, pinto beans, green beans, turnip greens, sweet potatoes, peas)
  • #10 Cans of Fruit (peaches, pears, apples, pineapple, mandarin oranges)
  • #10 Cans of Pudding (chocolate, vanilla, banana)
  • #10 Cans of Sauce (enchilada, tomato, spaghetti)
  • 5# or Larger Bags of Pasta (elbow, spaghetti, egg noodles)

Below is a list of items we need to restock our food pantry with:

  • Canned Vegetables (green beans, corn, peas, carrots, etc.)
  • Canned Beans (ranch style, pork n’ beans, refried, etc.)
  • Canned Meat (chicken, tuna, spam, Vienna sausages)
  • Soup (mixed variety)
  • Crackers (individual packs)
  • Peanut Butter & Jelly (small jars)
  • Fruit (canned or small cups)
  • Macaroni and Cheese (cups or small boxes)
  • Instant Oatmeal (individual packs)
  • Dry Cereal (individual serving boxes)
  • Canned Pasta (ravioli, spaghetti & meatballs)
  • Hormel Compleats (ready to heat & serve meals)
  • Snack Pack (granola bars, apple sauce, goldfish, etc.)
